At the Open Institute we are keen to add value to the public discussions on current issues by providing data at the very least. Today, we are happy to release the #KCPETrends web app that allows people to find out how well their primary school alma mater has been doing since 2006. The simple idea for this site was to facilitate reflections on how different schools in different counties are performing – and therefore empower us to ask questions like:
- Would you take your child to the same primary school you went to? If not, why not?
- Why has there been a general downward trend in English language subject in the cities (looking at various city schools at random)
